The competition’s inception as a “bathing beauty review” was an act of rebellion during a time when women weren’t permitted to wear swimsuits in public. Miss America has a 100-year history of looking ahead. Participants acquire life long skills while earning scholarships, meet other like-minded women, cultivate their own personal style, and engage within their communities. This unique opportunity is a year-round program of “Style, Service, Scholarship and Success” – representing the four points of the Miss America crown. What is the Miss America Opportunity? The public perception of Miss America is often that it’s a one-night telecast, but in reality it’s so much more. And the parent organization, Miss America Opportunity(New name of the Miss America Organization is over 100 years old, and our Miss New Jersey winner will compete for Miss America representing our state, New Jersey. WE ARE CELEBRATING MISS NEW JERSEY 9O YEARS, since Miss New Jersey began. Additionally, our MISS NEW JERSEY TEEN Final Competition is also at Resorts Casino Hotel on Saturday, June 17, 1pm.
All evening events begin at 8pm promptly. The Miss New Jersey Education Foundation is please to announce our final competition, with preliminary competitions, Thursday, June 15 and Friday June 16, with our FINAL COMPETITION SATURDAY, JUNE 17 in the SuperStar Theatre at Resorts Casino Hotel.
